There never seems time to gather my thoughts. Since letter writing stopped and our silent spaces have been eroded by tv, radio, mobile phones,ipods there is very little time to gather thoughts and analyse happenings. Its all a big merri-go-round so this space is for musings.
This recession has created huge unease and fear. There is a tension around my workplace that can't but effect all there. There is a lack of hope and a lack of fun and laughter. I have always tried to see the fun in my problems in the past and that has helped keep things in perspective. I suppose bcause they were my problems others would laugh with me. Now there is noone to laugh with as we are all feeling the pain.
We need to have more fun and it need not cost anything. I am going to set up a whinge free space in the office and ban the word recession and anything resembling it. Life is precious and short and we should not waste one minute in worry. Each day is a gift, don't waste it whinging and going down the "what if" road.
